The Gophers find themselves in seventh place in the second round of the Gopher Invitational shooting 17 over par as a team thus far this round. 

David Haley Jr. and Timothy Peterzen both carded big numbers in the round, with Haley Jr. scoring a nine on hole 12 and Peterzen scoring an eight on hole four and are 11 and 13 over this round through 15 holes. Peterzen was two over after the first round while Haley Jr. was seven over.  

David Constable birdied the tough fourth and fifth holes to go to three under, but lost three strokes after bogies on six, eight, and twelve.  Erik Van Rooyen is back to even par after finishing the morning round tied for first at four under par and has five bogies on the day.

Shang Zhi rebounded well from a ten over par 81 this morning and is one over par in the second round through 12 holes. 

Kent State holds the team lead at five over par with Charlotte four strokes back.  Minnesota sits 16 strokes back of Kent State at 21 over par.
