Peeping Tom creeps on Southeast Como

by James Nord

A Peeping Tom spying on a woman late Wednesday night fled before police arrived at her Southeast Como home.

Keeley Vollmer, 22, was in her bedroom when she saw a camera lens through the window, Minneapolis police Sgt. Bill Palmer said. Vollmer screamed, ran out of the room and called police. It’s unclear if the suspect used a still camera or if he was shooting video.

A similar incident occurred on the same street on July 4, but Palmer didn’t know if the cases were related.

The Minneapolis Police Department assigned an investigator to the Vollmer’s case Aug. 12, and more information will be available in the coming days, Palmer said.
