Both junior Pieter Gagnon and senior All-American Steph Price ran away with Big Ten Cross Country Runner of the Week honors following their performances this weekend.
Gagnon traveled to Sacramento, Calif. and captured a title in the Hornet Jamboree on Saturday. He finished with a time of 19 minutes, 28 seconds. This was Gagnon’s first career victory with the Gophers.
On the women’s side, Price won the Oz Memorial with a time of 21 minutes, 17 seconds. This was the second year in a row Price took first place at the Oz Memorial.
Gagnon and Price will run in the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 24.
