More Kid Cudi tickets available

Students who were not able to purchase tickets for the sold-out Kid Cudi Homecoming concert will have another chance to buy tickets Tuesday, as the venue has been changed to Williams Arena.

Students who were not able to purchase tickets for the sold-out Kid Cudi Homecoming concert will have another chance to buy tickets Tuesday, as the venue has been changed toWilliams Arena.
The University of Minnesota Student Unions and Activities will be releasing additional tickets for the concert scheduled for Friday, Oct. 1. The tickets will be sold online at 6 p.m. Tuesday at mygophersports.com.
Tickets will remain $10 with a valid student ID.
The released tickets are in response to an increase in capacity at Williams Arena as well as technical issues students faced purchasing tickets originally.
Many students faced difficulty purchasing tickets on the My Gopher Sports website Saturday night. Gopher Athletics has set up a virtual waiting room for the next round of purchasing, Athletics Ticket Manager Brent Holck said.
The virtual waiting room will ensure that any problems students encountered purchasing tickets Saturday will nothappen again.
âÄúIf you have five tickets and 10 people want them, not everybody can go in at once,âÄù Holck said. âÄúIf there is a spot to go in [to buy a ticket], it will let someone in.âÄù
The concert was originally scheduled to be performed outdoors in the Maroon Lot near TCF Bank Stadium.
Seating at Williams Arena will include some of the floor and in the stands, but all tickets will remain general admission.
Seating will be determined on a first-come, first-serve basis, said Maggie Towle, Student Unions andActivities director.
Originally, tickets were set to be sold during a Gophers After Dark event, but due to concerns of crowding, ticket sales were moved online.
