As a Minnesota Twins and Timberwolves season-ticket holder, I am concerned about the growing use of restrictive ticketing by sports teams around the country. Restrictive ticketing ties the ticket to a credit card and ID which limits transferability. This is a bad deal for fans that have already purchased tickets. We should be able to resell or give away our tickets however we see fit, without being restricted to only one resale site, or charged additional fees. Giving away tickets under these new practices would be nearly impossible. Ticketmaster and teams that sell tickets shouldn’t regulate what I can do with something I’ve already paid for.
