Authorities discovered a body in the Mississippi River near the Franklin Avenue Bridge Friday.
Lisa Kiava, a spokesperson for the Hennepin County sheriff's office, said authorities have been searching the river since Tuesday for a man that they believe jumped from the bridge. The Hennepin County medical examiner will determine the cause of death and whether the body discovered Friday is the same man, Kiava said.
