The University of Minnesota’s Boynton Health clinic on east bank has been closed due to three concurrent city water main breaks, said Greta Bergstrom, City of Minneapolis Communications Director.
The east bank clinic is on temporary water hookup to accommodate the situation while repairs are taking place tonight, Bergstrom said.
Traffic and students at the University of Minnesota are not experiencing any impact from the breaks in the East River Road area from Washington Ave. to Church St., Bergstrom said.
The cause of the breaks are currently being investigated, Bergstrom said.
