Students from Southwest High School in Minneapolis are okay after their flight made an emergency landing in New York Sunday night, according to Minnesota Public Radio.

The plane took off from LaGuardia Airport, but after crews noticed an "electrical smell," it  landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

A Delta Air Lines spokesperson said the landing was precautionary and no injuries were reported. All 145 passengers were booked on a later flight to the Twin Cities.
