As it states on flyers strewn about campus, Epic plays host to Big Boi tomorrow.  His album “Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors” is slated for release Dec. 11.  That tantalizing bit of information adds all the more appeal to Big Boi’s performance.  His new single, “Mama Told Me,” hints at a trove of tracks that ought to continue his solo legacy built on funk, jazz fusion, R&B and hip-hop.

The Get Cryphy DJs are the events’ special guests.  Hopefully that doesn’t mean Epic will be a sweaty mosh pit like some of their dance events.  It probably will be though—Big Boi brings them out.
