A robbery occurred near the corner of 15th Avenue Southeast and 8th Street Southeast Tuesday night, according to an all-campus alert.

On Wednesday, the Minneapolis Police Department took a report of the incident. The suspect was described as a 30-year-old man around 6 feet, 2 inches tall with dark hair worn in a ponytail. He was wearing camouflage pants and a black hooded sweatshirt, according to the alert.

This is the fourth University of Minnesota all-campus safety alert sent in the past two weeks. On Wednesday, a robbery and a theft were reported on West Bank. On Sept. 14, a victim was “slapped and pinched on the behind” by five juvenile suspects in Stadium Village. On Sept. 12, an attempted abduction took place in Marcy-Holmes.

This is a breaking news report. More information may be added as it becomes available.
