“Everyone look! Here’s the guy that did this to us.” Elmo tried to hide, but a mob soon engulfed him. “How could you?!” a woman yelled. “I have children, ya know.” Elmo retaliated. “Hey, it’s not like I control the weather! I just know what’s going to happen so I try to help people by telling them.” The crowd glared. “Fine,” He said. “Today and tomorrow will snow too. And the highs will barely reach 20.” “Take it back!” the mob yelled. “No!” “Take it back!” “Never!” A dark man emerged from the crowd. “Come with me, my son,” he said solemnly. As the crowd dispersed, one man mumbled, “That damn Dave Dahl really knows how to ruin a good lynch.”
