Steph Price joined Ben Blankenship as a Minnesota runner named Big Ten Runner of the Week by the conference Tuesday.
It’s Price’s second selection in three weeks, and she’s gotten her season off to a successful start. Price won Big Ten Runner of the Week two weeks ago, after winning the Gophers’ intrasquad meet and the Oz Memorial.
This week’s selection comes on the heels of her runner up performance at the Griak Invitational. Next up for the Gophers women’s team is a split-squad weekend. Half the team will compete in Eau Claire, Wisc., at the Blugold Invitational, and the other half is headed to South Dakota State.
Price will likely be attending the South Dakota State meet, looking for a third performance worthy of Big Ten Runner of the Week.
