A sexual assault involving rape occurred around 8:20 p.m. on March 6 inside the 19th Avenue Parking Ramp on the University of Minnesota’s West Bank Campus, according to a campus-wide safety alert sent out Saturday morning.
According to the police report, the incident was reported as a rape and was caught on the parking ramp’s video tape.
The parking ramp is located on the 300 block of 19th Avenue South, according to the alert.
The suspect is male with a skinny build. He was wearing a baseball cap and black jacket with a gray hoodie underneath, dark sweatpants and white tennis shoes.
