According to MSA’s November 2020 student survey, after only 18.81% of students said they felt safe at night on campus, MSA decided to form a new proactive committee.
Currently, Minnesota has one of the highest COVID-19 rates in the nation, with a high chance for more cases on campus after students traveling back from Thanksgiving break, however, many professors said the University has done well so far to prevent spread on campus.
The University’s DRC works to inform students with disabilities on possible accommodations in the classroom that may be beneficial in their coursework.
Created in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, Design Justice seeks to support the retention and inclusion of Black, Indigenous and students of color, starting with a cluster-hire this fall.
