Vikings come to U for flu

Members of the Minnesota Vikings organization will be on campus tomorrow.

When the University of MinnesotaâÄôs Boyton Health Service tries to break the world record for flu shots tomorrow, theyâÄôll be getting a helping hand from the Minnesota Vikings. In conjunction with the Vikings Tackling Influenza program, players, personnel, the Viking cheerleaders and mascot Viktor the Viking will visit Northrop Auditorium, to sign autographs and pose for pictures. Boyton will attempt to administer at least 10,000 free vaccines for University students, faculty and staff. Members of the general public will not be eligible for a free vaccine, according to a University news release.
