Penn State snapped a 19-game undefeated streak at home for Minnesota tonight after defeating them 0-1 in the last minute of play.

With just six seconds left in the game, Nitanny Lions forward Katie Schoepfer scored on a free kick to win the game.  Prior to the goal, redshirt freshman goalkeeper Cat Parkhill had made nine saves during the game.

The Minnesota offense 12 shots on goal to Penn State’s 10, but couldn’t find the net to avoid the shutout.

The Gophers will meet with Ohio State to continue Big Ten play at home on Sunday at 1 p.m.
