Sophomore forward Taylor Uhl and senior goalkeeper Cat Parkhill were given weekly honors by the Big Ten on Monday.
Uhl was named the conference's Co-Offensive Player of the Week after scoring three goals and assisting on one in Minnesota's wins over Illinois and Northwestern this weekend. Uhl is tied for the NCAA lead with 16 goals and leads the country with 41 points.
Parkhill was named Defensive Player of the Week after posting two shutouts. She recorded six saves on the weekend. Parkhill has started every game in goal for the Gophers and has a 1.13 goals-against average.
Minnesota returns to action this weekend with games against Indiana and Purdue.
