Police cited Gophers hockey forward Erik Haula, 21, for misdemeanor disorderly conduct early Saturday morning.
The junior publicly urinated on a street in Stillwater, Minn., after bar closing time, the Star Tribune reported.
"[Haula was] urinating while standing on Water St. on the west side of the Freight House [restaurant and bar] in plain view of the bar crowd after bar closing," the police report stated.
After his citation, police released Haula to a "somewhat sober" friend. While the report also stated that "it was clear that [Haula] was extremely intoxicated" it also said he "was very cooperative. No problems."
Head coach Don Lucia is aware of the incident and will handle the matter internally, according to Minnesota's athletics department.
The Finland native scored 49 points last season with 20 goals and 29 assists.
