The Gophers volleyball team retained its No. 10 position in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association poll released Monday.

Minnesota lost to No. 2 Penn State in four sets and beat No. 15 Ohio State in five sets over the weekend.

Stanford is still the top-ranked team in the nation, followed by the Nittany Lions in second and Texas in third. Fellow Big Ten team Nebraska dropped to No. 9 from No. 4 this week after losing at unranked Michigan and Michigan State.

The Gophers will play at Michigan and Michigan State this weekend.
