The University of Minnesota is among the top 10 universities in the nation with the most undergraduate students, according to a report by U.S. News and World Report.

The University came in 9th with about 33,600 undergraduate students enrolled.

Other Big Ten universities showed up on the list too. Ohio State University was 3rd with 42,000, Pennsylvania State University was 5th at about 38,500 and Michigan State University was 7th with 36,000.

Those on the list were not necessarily schools with the best rankings from U.S. News. Pennsylvania State University was the highest ranked on the list at number 45. The University was ranked 68 out of about 1,800 public and private colleges for 2011-2012.

Arizona State University topped the list with almost 60,000 undergraduate students, ranked at 132.
