Ralph Nader, Independent candidate for president, will be on campus Friday night. Nader, who has run for president on third-party ballots every year since 1996, is on the ballot in 45 states for the Nov. 4 election. Nader will discuss the economic crisis, the presidential debates, and an August poll that found 77 percent of Minnesotans would consider voting for a third party candidate, according to a news release. The event is open to the public, with a suggested donation. It will be held at Willey Hall 175 at 7 p.m. Posters on campus advertising the event encourage attendees to come dressed like their favorite âÄî or least favorite âÄî politician.
