Sixth-year senior Trevor Mbakwe was named to the Third Team All-Big Ten by coaches and Second Team All-Big Ten by the media. Sophomore Andre Hollins earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention by coaches and Third Team All-Big Ten by the media.

This is Mbakwe's second time being named to an All-Big Ten team. The 24-year-old was named to the second team by media and coaches as a junior in 2010-11. Coincidentally, the St. Paul native led the Big Ten in rebound both years — topping the conference this year with 8.7 rebounds per game. 

Hollins averaged 13.9 points per game, enough to finish 10th in the conference in scoring. The Gophers point guard finished sixth in the Big Ten in three-point field goal percentage (40%) and seventh in average three-pointers per game (2.2).
