Minnesota State-Mankato head football caoch Todd Hoffner was arrested and jailed Tuesday on allegations he had possessed and produced child pornography, the Mankato Free Press reported.
The university has placed Hoffner on leave and a school investigation is pending, according to the Star Tribune.
He was suspected of "use of minors in a sexual performance" and possession of child pornography after his home was searched Tuesday, according to the Blue Earth County Sheriff's Office.
"The University is not aware of any allegations affecting university students or program participants," university spokesman Dan Benson said in a statement released Tuesday.
