Gophers volleyball outside hitter Daly Santana earned the Big Ten Conference's Freshman of the Week award Monday for the second time this season.

The Puerto Rico native averaged 4.1 digs, 2.6 kills and 0.3 blocks per set in Minnesota's 3-0 win over unranked Wisconsin on Wednesday and 3-1 win over No. 17 Purdue on Saturday. She also had six aces throughout the two games, including four against Wisconsin, and averaged 0.9 aces per set.

Santana first won the honor Oct. 8 for her performances against Michigan and Michigan State.

The No. 10 Gophers start the second half of the Big Ten season this weekend against unranked Northwestern and No. 25 Illinois.
