One dead after shooting in Cedar-Riverside

Minneapolis police responded Friday night to reports of shooting at the 300 block of Cedar Avenue.

One person died after a shooting in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood Friday night.

Police responded to reports of gun shots at the 300 block of Cedar Avenue, according to a Minneapolis Police Department press release. Two gunshot victims were located in a vehicle at 2100 Riverside Avenue and are believed to be related to the Cedar Avenue shooting. One victim in the vehicle was deceased while the other had non-life-threatening injuries.

Police were soon alerted that a third victim of the same shooting had arrived at the Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. All three victims are believed to be adults.

No further information has been released about the victims.
