In this past week, I indeed managed to find some fantastic fashion lurking on our campus. Check out your sartorially minded peers and learn from their success. Name: Cinnamon Janzer Year/major: senior, art major and anthropology minor Describe your style: Casual, cute and artsy. What are you wearing? Jean leggings from Abercrombie & Fitch; blazer, tank and flats from Urban Outfitters; sunglasses from Harvard University campus store; necklace from Forever 21; earrings from teensfightinghunger.org. HowâÄôd you decide what to wear today? My mom and I went on a shopping extravaganza last weekend. Whenever I get new stuff I always wear it right away. Name: Amelia Laura Franceschi Year/major: first-year, undecided Describe your style: Eclectic, though composed. Detailed, and occasionally oddly conceptual. What are you wearing? Blouse from Forever 21; jumpsuit from Rachel Roy for MacyâÄôs; booties by Minelli (from France); vintage fur; skinny belt is vintage Calvin Klein; gloves from H&M; vintage brooch; Chanel red lipstick. HowâÄôd you decide what to wear today? I knew IâÄôd be adventuring the Cities today and using public transportation, so I chose something movable and neutral colored. The wee coat was added for warmth; IâÄôm still scared IâÄôll be yelled at by an angry fur hater! Name: Nick Patnode Year/major: senior, political science and global studies Describe your style: Simple, fitted and elegant. What are you wearing? Tuxedo shirt from Jo-Ann Fabrics; pants from H&M; suspenders from Tatters Vintage Clothing; vintage dancing shoes from Vienna. HowâÄôd you decide what to wear today? I was working a shift at Loring Pasta Bar, where we have to âÄúdress with a sense of occasion.âÄù ItâÄôs a motto that has stuck with me. Name: Alexandra Baldwin Year/major: junior, public relations Describe your style: Everything from slightly preppy to bohemian chic. What are you wearing?: Shirt from Free People; jeans from J. Crew; boots from Minnetonka; sunglasses by Ray-Ban; scarf from Urban Outfitters; bomber jacket from Nordstrom. HowâÄôd you decide what to wear today? I decided to wear black because I was doing a presentation for one of my classes, and I love black. I think black with some added color accents, like the yellow scarf, can be very sophisticated. But you canâÄôt wear all black all the time; itâÄôs depressing! Name: Adrian Pansch Year/major: junior, public Relations Describe your style: Girly, with a little bit of urban chic, but always comfortable. What are you wearing?: Trench from the North Face; T-shirt from Michael Stars; jeans from Forever 21; riding boots from MacyâÄôs; tote from Urban Outfitters. HowâÄôd you decide what to wear today? We were having group presentations in my class. I wanted to wear something comfortable and simple but still stylish. The coat keeps me warm from the windy, wet, fall days.
