The Gophers volleyball team ranked fourth in the Big Ten conference in a preseason coaches' poll Thursday.

The top-six teams made the rankings, including No. 1 Nebraska, No. 2 Penn State, No. 3 Purdue, No. 5 Illinois and No. 6 Ohio State.

In addition to the rankings, the conference announced the preseason All-Big Ten selections. Tori Dixon and Ashley Wittman earned the honors from Minnesota. The pair were two of the 14 athletes selected.
