The U.S. Olympic women's volleyball team continued its undefeated streak in pool play Wednesday against China.
The Americans won in straight sets. After China came out strong in the first set, the U.S. managed a come-from-behind win, 26-24. China again dominated the second set early, but the U.S. won by a wider margin of 25-16. The U.S. blew several match points in the third set but ultimately came out on top, 31-29.
Former Gophers setter Lindsey Berg again started and posted impressive statistics. Berg made 91 sets, 10 digs, three blocks, two spikes and 11 serves.
The U.S. is now the only undefeated team left in its pool. It plays Serbia on Friday.
