Minnesota designated player Stephanie Sward was named a first-team All-Mideast Region selection, and catcher Megan Higginbotham earned second-team honors Thursday.

Sward led the Big Ten with 28 stolen bases, while Higginbotham led the Big Ten with seven doubles and 49 total bases.
