On Friday, the Board of Regents voted to move forward with the athletics department’s proposal to eliminate men’s indoor track, gymnastics and tennis. The three programs will be discontinued after the 2020-21 school year.
Following the protest on Sept. 16, new developments have risen in the fight for men’s track and field, gymnastics and tennis — most notably planning to cut women’s roster spots.
