Dreaming of being on "The X Factor" but don't want to venture far to audition?

Auditions are being held this week at the Mall of America for those who dream of appearing on the second season of Fox Television's show, the Star Tribune said.

For three days beginning Thursday, singers are invited to the parking lot next to IKEA to record their audition video and have it submitted soon after, the Tribune said.

Performers who are chosen will then advance to an audition before Simon Cowell and the other judges, the Tribune said.

Audition time for the next three days is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is the only audition opportunity being held in Minnesota.
