Minneapolis police will present status reports of three public safety initiatives to the City Council’s Public Safety and Regulatory Services Committee Wednesday, June 25 at 1 p.m .
Viktoria Herson , Minneapolis police spokeswoman, said the City Council requests that Minneapolis police give periodic reports of public safety initiatives.
“It’s (the City Council’s) chance to see what has been going on in the past several months,” Herson said.
The initiatives – the Violent Offenders Task Force, the Safe City initiative and MPD’s Workforce Diversity Plan – are unrelated to each other.
The meeting will take place at Minneapolis City Hall in room 317.
