Men to Tacoma

The Minnesota men’s golf team will head to Tacoma, Wash. for the Big Ten vs. Pac 10 Challenge on Sunday, Oct. 21 and Monday, Oct. 22.

Participating in the tournament for the Gophers will be senior Clayton Rask, junior Victor Almstrom, sophomore Ben Pisani, sophomore Justin Kaplan and senior Andy Paulson.

Minnesota will compete against Washington, Oregon, Northwestern, UCLA, Oregon State, Wisconsin and Michigan.

The tournament list is a small one, but still features some stiff competition.

“UCLA is probably the second best team in the nation,” head coach Brad James said.
