Royce White was at the practice of the Gophers men’s basketball team Thursday for the first time in several weeks, according to a report by the Star Tribune.

The report said White’s grandfather, Frank White, said Royce White met with head coach Tubby Smith earlier this week.

White has not played for the Gophers since Smith announced his indefinite suspension before the team’s first exhibition in early November.  He released a YouTube video saying that he was leaving college basketball two weeks ago.
