The line at Hideaway went out the door on Friday afternoon. 

The store had a 40 percent off everything deal for its annual 420 sale. On Saturday the store will have a 40 percent off hookah sale, or a buy one get one of equal or lesser value.

Other businesses were also extra busy on Friday as Spring Jam weekend ensued. 

"We're pretty set up to deal with a lot of people," said Flaco Huevos, Mesa Pizza manager. "We're mentally preparing."

Huevos said he expects the restaurant be even more packed than a typical weekend.

Burrito Loco Bar and Grill, and Blarney Pub and Grill were also teeming with customers by 4 p.m. on Friday and expecting to maintain the crowds thru Sunday.
