Minnesota candidates raised some of the largest amounts of cash of the entire campaign between Oct. 16 and Nov. 24, the latest round of campaign, financing reports released Thursday show. With the exception of the undecided U.S. Senate race, the candidate who raised the most money won every race for a federal position in the state. In the 3rd Congressional District, DFLer Ashwin Madia raised more than $423,000 during the reporting period. But, over the course of the campaign, Erik Paulsen raised almost $45,000 more than Madia, and won the race by almost 8 percent of the vote. In the Senate race, Al FrankenâÄôs campaign has raised $2.1 million for the campaignâÄôs recount effort. The race remains undecided. Check MondayâÄôs Daily for more.
