The Gophers softball team’s final home games of the season were canceled due to inclement weather.
Minnesota was scheduled to play a doubleheader with North Dakota State on Wednesday night. The Gophers cancelled a midweek doubleheader with North Dakota last week, too.
Minnesota will travel to West Lafayette, Ind., this weekend for a three-game series with Purdue to wrap up regular-season play before heading to Evanston, Ill., the following weekend for the Big Ten tournament.

The Gophers baseball team’s midweek game against Bethel was also canceled because of inclement weather.
This is the latest cancellation of the season for Minnesota after a midweek game with Hamline was postponed last week and no makeup date was announced.
The Gophers will get away from the gloomy weather this weekend with a series against Florida State.
Minnesota has two scheduled midweek home games next week and a weekend
series against Purdue to close out its home schedule.
