Although it’s a little early to start judging the effectiveness of our new President (he’s not even 100 hours into the job yet), for those of you who feel the impulse to rush to judgment PolitiFact has a tool for you: the Obameter.

The Obameter tracks the progress of the Obama adminisration weighed against the promises he made on the campaign trail – all 510 of them.  Thusfar, he has kept six.  If he keeps up this pace, all our problems should be fixed by mid-October or so.  The Editorial Board, however, rather modestly suggests that it may take slightly longer.
