University of Wisconsin-Madison police are responding to a shots fired report near the school's campus.
The shots were reported on the 100 block of Langdon Street, where several fraternity and sorority houses are located.
Police reports say two male suspects, ages 17 and 18, have been detained by police but not arrested. Police say this wasn't an active shooter situation.
Madison police told FOX6 News the shooting was part of an attempted armed robbery. The suspect attempted to rob the victim, who then chased the suspect. The suspect then fired at least one round, according to the FOX6 report, and no one was injured.
