Sirens sounded on University Avenue on Wednesday when a Gophers volleyball player was injured in practice. A source close to the situation said the player, who is remaining annonymous, suffered an orthopedic injury during practice today. The injury was not life threatening and that the player went to the hospital as a precautionary measure. 

The Gophers have two road games this weekend against Purdue and Indiana
