Gophers football coach Tim Brewster wants to add his name to an already long list of people who have dominated the Timberwolves this year in competition.

The Minnesota coach has accepted former Daily Sports editor Michael Rand’s “Twitter Challenge” and will compete with T-Wolves forward Brian Cardinal to see which of the two can reach 1,500 followers first.

Current results show that Brewster holds a slight lead in the race – 1,003 followers to Cardinal’s 951.
