According to a recent facebook post on the Eyedea and Abilities fan page, Minnesota rapper Eyedea has passed away at the age of 28.  His cause of death is unknown.  The post was made by his mother Kathy Averill, requesting “respect and privacy” in light of his death.  It is a sad loss for Minneapolis and rap music in general.  You will be missed Eyedea.
