A possible bomb threat ended Saturday after a man was taken into police custody after robbing a downtown Stillwater bank, news sources reported.
The suspect fled on foot from the U.S. Bank in Stillwater after implying he had some sort of explosive device, Minnesota Public Radio reported.
It’s unclear whether the suspect made off with any money from the bank, the Pioneer Press reported. Police closed a two-block area around the bank as a precaution, but later determined the alleged bomb was either inactive or fake.
No injuries have been reported, according to the Star Tribune.
