Work on a water main under University Avenue just west of Oak Street, which was supposed to end Jan.19 according to a press release, has carried into the spring semester. The project reduces University Avenue from three lanes to one for a short distance, and severely restricts traffic near Williams Arena and the site of TCF Bank Stadium. No word yet on when the road will reopen fully.
