This week, the hated Wisconsin Badgers come to campus for the first time in nearly three decades. In years past, Wisconsin has been able to easily get 20,000 or more fans into the Metrodome because of fans selling their tickets to Badger fans willing to pay up for tickets. This weekend however, I implore all ticket holders: Don’t sell your tickets. If you must sell your tickets, sell them to a Gopher fan. If a Wisconsin fan is offering more money, have some pride, take $60 instead of $80 for the sake of having a gold-wearing fan in the seat as opposed to a red. The only seats that Wisconsin fans should be sitting in this weekend are the ones allocated to them. Let’s have as many Gopher fans in the stadium as we possibly can. Come early, stay late, and be loud. Make life miserable for the Badgers. And while we’re at it, let’s eradicate all Wisconsin apparel on campus. If you’re a U of MN student, there’s no reason you should be walking around wearing a Badger shirt. None. Go Gophers. Andrew Wagner University undergraduate student
