With the first day of fall coming up on Sept. 22, what’s your favorite part about this time of year? Emelia Mickman said she enjoys everything about the season. The combination of a new school year, leaves and the upcoming Halloween holiday puts the classics sophomore in a good mood every year. âÄúI love the smell of falling leaves,âÄù Mickman said. âÄúAnd when you step on them and you hear the noise.âÄù She said she enjoys being warm in cold weather. Her favorite parts of Halloween are dressing up, being scared and getting candy. âÄúI decided a long time ago that autumn was my favorite season,âÄù she said.
