Coach who took over for Tubby Smith at Kentucky got fired

Billy Gillispie was fired after two seasons at University of Kentucky after they missed the NCAA tourney for the first time since 1991, Bloomberg reports. That’s right, 1991. Tubby is looking pretty darn good right now, even after the Gophers went one and out of the tourney.

The University of Minnesota got some attention in the launch of YouTube’s new venture to include academic channels part of a distinct section. U of M had the top spots in its videos featured on YouTube with some of the most viewed videos.  Check out the video below and the U’s channel:
