Former Gopher basketball player Travis Busch transferred to Colorado State where he will play the 2009-10 season.
Busch originally signed with Cal-Poly for his freshman year, but played in only four games before injuring his foot and missing the remainder of the season. He transferred to Minnesota the following year, but NCAA transfer regulations kept Bush out of the 2006-07 season. He stayed with the Gophers for two more years, playing in 50 games averaging 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.
Busch was a 2009 academic all-Big Ten selection and received an athletic scholarship to play for Minnesota the past two seasons. Because the Gophers added two players to their roster this year, Busch would not receive his scholarship for senior year.
The NCAA granted Busch a waiver so that he could be eligible immediately and play his last year of eligibility with Colorado State.
