Surly Brewing Co. has narrowed potential sites for its brewery to three locations: one in Brooklyn Center, one in an unnamed "innersuburban" location and one near the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities campus, according to the Star Tribune.
The $20 million "destination brewery" would include a restaurant, beer garden and event center, the Star Tribune reported.
One possible site is just east of the University at 3171 5th Street SE, a former food processing plant, the Star Tribune reported.
