FBI Special Agents arrested a University of Minnesota faculty member Friday following accusations of child exploitation, KSTP reported.

An arrest warrant was issued out of Louisiana for Woody Dale Branton, an associate professor in the neuroscience department, according to the report. Branton appeared in Federal District Court Friday.

According to KSTP, Branton has worked at the University since 1988.
